Featuring an enviable lineup of DJs and a wide array of artistic proposals, Backstage emerged as both a local and global meeting point for electronic music lovers. The event was expertly hosted by radio personality and DJ Mo Ayoub.
This meeting point offered 5 uninterrupted hours of the best music for three days, establishing itself as an event dedicated to its listeners and launching the world’s most up-and-coming emerging artists. From the first day, the event kicked off with Dead Tongues, aka Lucas Bartolomé, resident DJ of Human Club and a master of electronic music, '90s atmosphere, acid-rave, and ambient-experimental. After an intense hour, he was followed by R-010 live, a Madrid-based DJ focused on delivering danceable live sets blending genres like techno, dub, and house.
The third performance of the first day was by ELLIAN, bringing the best of Latin music and reggaeton. MOD.1, an emerging DJ from Barcelona with a passion for vinyl, also took to the turntables, standing out by telling stories with his immersive sound. Finally, the first day ended on a high note with Canarian DJ HI KI, delivering an intense, emotional, and danceable set.
On the second day, TMN team spread throughout the venue to enjoy a day with a varied lineup. First up, DJs SOSA RD and PHRAN shook the venue with their mixes, winning the hearts of everyone following the event live with their fusion of electronic music and techno. João Lágrima De Ouro followed, bringing his contagious electrofunk essence and Brazilian influences to Barcelona. Both the writer and photographer from Teens Media Network paused their journalistic duties to enjoy the Brazilian's set, as it was impossible not to dance to his mixes.
Next, Cardona from Colombia took over, showing how to set the bar high. After the explosive Colombian set, the duo Mutual Trust connected with the viewers and managed to keep the hype up with a mix of EBM and house fused with pure techno sounds. Finally, to close the second day as it deserved, Swedish artist Sylvia showed that magic exists without tricks or deception, creating a sound spectacle as soon as her hands touched the turntables.

To culminate the three days of music, Madrid-based DREA brought a great variety of old school sounds, ranging from baile funk, Jersey club, and kuduro. CAROLINA, originally from Honduras, made history at Razzmatazz, enchanting everyone who listened to her rhythms as if by a siren’s song. UMAMI and CKR290 continued the party, energizing all those who had been connected to the live stream for hours, pouring their best work into their sets. The three days of festivities and good vibes concluded with a mix by Mo Ayoub, pulling out the freshest and most infectious sounds to welcome the summer and confirm that the Backstage DJs cycle is undoubtedly a must-attend event for all who enjoy good electronic music.
The event was especially thrilling for Teens Media Network youth reporters Noelia Serrano and Amaia Garcia. Covering Backstage from a youth perspective, they brought fresh insights and enthusiasm to their reporting, capturing the vibrant energy and innovative spirit of the event. Their coverage highlighted the importance of engaging young audiences in the evolving landscape of electronic music, making Backstage a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved.
